Same Day Appointments:
We make every effort to accommodate same day appointment requests. Call the office any time during normal business hours to find out about same-day appointments.
Our office telephone is answered 24 hours a day, seven days a week by office staff. Routine calls for appointment scheduling, prescription refills, and billing questions should be made during office hours of 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. Calls outside of regular office hours are taken for emergencies only. We ask that you not abuse this policy.
Call 5 days in advance during business hours to schedule a prescription refill appointment. Advance planning allows your physician adequate time to evaluate whether your medication is providing the desired results. Your physician may decide to order labs when deciding how to best manage your care.
Arriving On Time:
Dr. Wilson makes every effort to keep our scheduled appointments on time. We rely on our patients to arrive on time and often bring patients back early when arriving ahead of the scheduled appointment time. Arriving late uses a portion of your appointment and your physician will need to decide if he can adequately evaluate and treat you in the remaining time. You may be given an option to wait for the next available appointment, or reschedule.
We count on our patients to keep every scheduled appointment since we do not double–book appointments. A missed appointment wastes your physician's valuable clinic time and places our non–doublebooking policy at risk. Rescheduling appointments with 24-hour notice allow us to offer your appointment to another patient.
There is a $50 charge for each missed appointment without a 24-hour notice.
We participate with many insurance companies but do ask that you call your insurance company to verify our participation in your particular plan. We are not providers for AHCCCS (State of AZ Medicaid), The Affordable Care Act (insurance policies sold on the insurance exchange), or Worker's Compensation.
